What will Escape Lodge be like for guests?
“Escape Lodge” will be a self-catering eco-lodge set in beautiful and wild Dundonnell in the Scottish North-West Highlands.
A visit to Escape Lodge is more like a visit to relaxed country friends. We'll show you where everything is and then it's up to you to make yourself at home. We are there to help and, of course, we do the cleaning! Get up when you want, go to bed when you want. Spend all day curled up with a book by the roaring fire or wander off and explore our stunning landscape and spot wildlife.
The house will take a maximum of 20 guests so it's not too crowded and if you get into conversation with another guest don't be surprised if they share many of your interests and concerns about the world. The Escape we aim to provide is for people who lead busy lives and feel a need for close contact with landscape and nature.

Cook your own meals
Because you cook your own meals, you can choose when, and what, you eat. The shared kitchen provides an opportunity to mix with other guests, swap stories of the day or get tips on the best walks or places to see wildlife.

Nobody is going to judge your eco-credentials and how green you choose to be is up to you!
Public Transport
It can be quite a long journey to Escape Lodge and if you prefer to use public transport we'll encourage this by picking you up for free from the bus.

Facilities
The rooms are simple with minimal furnishings, no TVs or phones. Like an ordinary home, guests share bathroom facilities which are high quality and well maintained.
